Christian Molloy joined Pierce Construction Law in 2019. With more than 18 years of legal experience, Mr. Molloy provides Pierce Construction Law clients with expertise in site inspections, contract review, practical advice, and aggressive litigation services on a host of construction issues and delay claims. His experience includes insurance analysis and assessment of damages with a particular focus on the construction industry. His unique background makes him an especially effective litigator for Pierce Construction Law clients.

With extensive experience representing plaintiffs in litigation, Christian focuses on fighting for Pierce Construction Law clients’ rights and ensuring that each client is made whole in construction-related disputes. Such standards often require management of complex litigation against numerous defendants to recuperate a property owner’s often financially devastating losses. Christian’s approach to navigating construction disputes helps ensure clients are informed and prepared with tailored litigation services and strategies for their businesses.

Before Joining Pierce Construction Law, Mr. Molloy practiced a wide variety of civil litigation in Southern California, including construction defects, mold intrusion, PM10 dust nuisance emanating from construction sites throughout the Coachella Valley, cement-mix defects from a supplier, and General Liability Insurance disputes. In addition, at his prior firm, Mr. Molloy and another equity partner were the preeminent trial team in Southern California for an international rental agency specializing in a niche practice litigating a 2010 federal law through numerous trials and appeals.

Mr. Molloy obtained his Bachelor’s degree from University of California, San Diego with a political science major and law-and-society minor. He received his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 2004.

After law school, Mr. Molloy joined the Los Angeles office of a national insurance-coverage firm based in Chicago with over 100 attorneys. There, he specialized in construction-related insurance litigation cases and developed an expertise in helping insured clients better manage their risk from a legal perspective. This included extensive litigation of “additional insured” and “other insurance” issues in Commercial General Liability policy disputes in the construction industry. Mr. Molloy brought this experience to Pierce Construction Law and is tenaciously dedicated to pursuing clients’ damages, and, wherever possible, securing insurance coverage from contractors and subcontractors.
